A Reasonable Facsimile Thereof?

Cyber cannot solve it all.
One needs true distances to tread,
actual and not virtual seas.
A screen is glamorous but dead.

The lure of uninvaded hills,
the cry of loon on sunset lake:
such feeds the soul; an absence of
simplicity engenders ache.

In comradeship around the fire,
filled glasses and shared dreams enthrall.
With living chains, the links are warm;
cyber cannot solve it all.
