Darren C. Demaree

The sky is a needless task.  Give me more roof that looks like it wants to be enough fire!  If you ever do make it out of both doors, to the outside, that wind is going to rush down Route 36, it’s to punch you in the fucking mouth.  You’ll learn to stay where you want to be buried.

Darren C. Demaree is the author of "As We Refer To Our Bodies" (2013, 8th House), "Temporary Champions" (2014, Main Street Rag), and "Not For Art Nor Prayer" (2015, 8th House).  He is the Managing Editor of the Best of the Net Anthology and is currently living and writing in ColumbusOhio with his wife and children.
